This is a slip-on infrablue lens filter. The infrablue lens makes the red channel of an image show near-infrared light rather than actual red, making post-processing for plant analysis via Infragram much easier. Infragram's processing allows you to deduce how much available light plants are metabolizing into sugar via photosynthesis. Here are a few of the many uses the filter can serve:
